What we can do for your business

HOW WE WORK Dragon Up Holdings' experience in dealing with Chinese suppliers, and our hands-on approach throughout the production process can help avoid some common problems when dealing with Chinese manufacturers. Currently many factories in China still do not possess English-speaking project managers and sales / business development staff, making direct communications with them problematic. The language barrier can cause a variety of costly errors - such as misunderstandings regarding costs, fees, timetable, packaging specifications, etc.. The capabilities of suppliers varies greatly in China . Many suppliers will overstate capacity and speed of delivery, or make promises they cannot keep. Unscrupulous suppliers have been known to under-quote initially and subsequently raising their prices once production has begun. Quality is the number one issue when having goods manufactured in China , and even with good suppliers, quality issues can arise. Our staff constantly monitors the production process to ensure that the quality meets and exceeds your expectations. |

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
What are the fees paid to Dragon Up Holdings? The short answer is that each situation is unique. For most product sourcing, supplier search, or manufacturer qualifications auditing we generally are paid a flat fee by the client or as negotiated between both parties. In most export trade transactions, we generally also take an export management fee to oversee production, packing and all export logistics. This is usually between 5%-7% based upon the total value of each trade shipment. For export logistics, we generally take a commission based upon the total value of each shipment. How are payments made to the manufacturers? Product payments are handled by a Letter of Credit. For your convenience and security, the Letter of Credit can be issued to Dragon Up Holdings directly without having to T/T to companies you don't know. How much do I need to buy? In terms of value, the ideal purchase volume is FCL (full container loads). However, shipping volumes can be two cubic meters and upwards. At high volumes the cost of shipping per unit of product is usually small or insignificant. In other words, the smaller the shipment, the higher the per-unit shipping cost, which would negatively impact projected savings for our clients. How long does it take to source a product? The time frame varies for each project, but it depends mostly on the complexity of the product and how commonplace similar products are. If there are factories already producing similar products at a significant volume, the supplier search can be done within 30 days. More specialized products can take longer as we need to meet with each potential supplier to discuss the feasibility for production. |
